Arthur Tapp’s Catapult Club relentlessly promote high quality local gigs for minimal cash cost to you the punter and this bash at The Hare & Hounds is the best so far this year. Five bands for six quid at the city’s sharpest live music venue? We’ll have some of that. Headlining are Strange Ghost, beautifully realised and sophisticated electro soul melodies over which Ayomide Donald’s seductively powerful voice floats atmospherically, check out the crisply fresh pop notes of their new EP Stagger here,  like a sunny day bottled then let it loose in the dark. The stunning five band bill is completed by electro rockers Beau Trap, indie geezers Nine Dart Finish, the literary Goodnight Berlin and the eclectic beatboxing rabble Thievez.
