Well we can think of no better way to celebrate Christmas than in the company of Birmingham’s own Balkan brass rabble rousing mentalists The Destroyers. There is a new EP out ‘The Vortex’, which is a pile-driving megafolk statement that manages to almost bottle their manic live energy, we just can’t stop listening to ‘The Vortex Cannon’. Nice Christmas pressie? Yes please! However, It’s on stage where The Destroyers really come alive, their performances are legendary. Part cabaret, part theatre, all energy.
