Darkcore progenitor and RAM Records co-founder Andy C returns to the Rainbow for a three-hour DJ set alongside ‘Bricks Don’t Roll’ drum & bass head DJ Hazard, Dillinja, 1991 and Escape. Known to employ not only two but three turntables, which he uses to ‘double drop’ the basslines from two songs at the same time, Andy C is known both for his speedy mixing and his marathon DJ sets, often DJing for in excess of five hours. From his beginnings programming breaks in Ant Miles’ converted garage studio, where he and Miles created seminal record ‘Valley of the Shadows (31 Seconds)’, to his status now as a pioneering force in electronic music and one of the greatest DJs in the world, the man known as the Executioner will be expertly executing one of his customarily explosive sets this Saturday.
