This celebration of what has become one of the UK’s most loved foods from the Middle East will offer up over 10 hummus-based street food traders for you to gorge yourself to your heart’s content on all sorts of twists on the chickpea and tahini based treat. There’ll also be DJs and live music as well as a fully licensed bar and live hummus-based demos for tips on how to make your own hummus. You’ll even be able to catch a screening of ‘Hummus the Movie’, a documentary showing how the chickpea based dip has become an important part in different cultures all over the world and a hummus based goodie-bag.
