An award-winning Indian favourite has announced plans for a brand-new concept in the city.
Asha’s, which originally opened in Birmingham back in 2026, will launch Asha’s Indian Street Food inside the independent Society food hall on Mon 16 Mar.
Renowned for its refined approach to Indian cuisine, Asha’s new street food concept will bring its famous flavours and rich heritage to Society to a more relaxed, informal setting.
Inspired by the bustling streets of India, Asha’s Indian Street Food menu highlights include chicken paratha rolls and chilli paneer rolls (a choice of juicy chicken or crispy chilli paneer wrapped in a warm paratha), Delhi Samosa Chaat’s (crushed samosas topped with chickpeas, yoghurt, chutneys and spices) and vegetable aloo tikki chaat (golden potato patties layered with tangy chutneys and yogurt.
All dishes have been designed for a relaxed, street-food-style dining experience while staying true to the brand’s roots.

“At Asha’s we’ve always loved to be at the forefront of the city’s dining community and with this in mind we can’t wait to pitch up at Society Birmingham and bring our brand new Indian street food concept to life. We’re excited to share our love of Indian cuisine in a more informal, social setting and to introduce our dishes to both loyal fans and new guests alike.”
Nick Gregory, Founder at Society Birmingham, added: “Asha’s is an iconic Birmingham brand, and we’re incredibly proud to be welcoming them into Society. Their reputation speaks for itself, and we know our guests are going to love seeing such a well-respected local restaurant join our community of independent traders.
“The fact that they’re launching a completely new concept, which shares the same relaxed and social feel that defines Society, makes it even more exciting for us. We’re passionate about bringing the best and most diverse cuisine and street food to the people and Asha’s Indian Street Food’s arrival really embodies this.”
