The Jewellery Quarter’s Albion Square will again be transformed into a bustling street food market later this month.

After last month’s inaugural edition of Food Truck Friday proved such a hit, it will now become a regular event on the last Friday of each month.

This month’s participating food trucks bring an incredible variety of global tastes including:

● Wagyu Burger Truck – Serving up premium, juicy Wagyu beef burgers that take indulgence to the next level.
● The Hungry Penguin Pancake Company – Sweet and savoury pancakes.
● South Birmingham Curry Club – Homestyle Indian curries and street food.
● Tacos El Pap – Authentic Mexican street tacos, packed with fresh ingredients and bold spices.
The Flippin Pizza Company – Wood-fired pizzas with crispy bases and delicious, fresh toppings.

Latham Papworth, owner of Tacos El Pap said:  “The response to the first Food Truck Friday was incredible. We can’t wait to be back in the Jewellery Quarter again, serving up our tacos to such a buzzing crowd.”Stephen McCarty, owner of Wagyu Burger Truck added: “It’s great to see the Jewellery Quarter embracing street food. We had an amazing time at the last event, and we’re ready to fire up the grills for round two.”

Temper and Brown will be welcoming festival-goers and inviting them to bring their food inside. From 6pm until 1am, the popular pub will host a night of soulful music, providing the perfect soundtrack to a great evening of food and drinks and great vibes.

Roifield Brown, owner of Temper and Brown said:  “We had such an amazing response after the first-ever Food Truck Friday last month.  The feedback from the community was overwhelming so we’re expecting this event to be even bigger and better now that word has spread.”

Food Truck Friday will return on Fri 28 Mar.
