Dust off your dancing shoes, slip on the vintage threads and get into the swing as sunshine sounds and sweet vintage moves bring guaranteed goodtimes whatever the weather to Birmingham’s own Symphony Hall for one spectacular night only. The Ever-After Vintage Tea Dance aims to showcase the auditorium’s fullest talents, transforming the venue into a 1930’s themed ballroom with floating tiered floor, for an old-time dance extravaganza to prove that good times and great music don’t have an expiry date. Expect wild swing style dance lessons (no experience necessary) from The Swing Era as well as tea, cake, bubbles, and lashings of musical entertainment. The Jim Wynn Swing Orchestra will supply the big band buzz and a musical backdrop boasting only the best tunes from the likes of Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald and Benny Goodman, alongside the Sugarfoot Stomp 8-woman strong DJ collective who really know their vintage vinyl, foot-slapping stuff to ensure the tapping of feet lasts well into the twilight hours.
