The H&H’s adventures in pop-up food (porn) continue this month as Yoyigo bring their Korean kitchen to the pub whose mere name now triggers a pavlovian drool response amongst its punters. This time the menus to uncontrollably salivate over include spicy grilled squid or spiced tofu (for vegetarians) with twigim tempura and dipping sauces followed by a choice of marinated beef or slow cooked Galbi Aubergine with steamed rice, a selection of vegetables, fried egg and Yogiyo Gochujang and finishing with a white chocolate and ginger mousse, sesame biscuit & green tea parfait. Oof! And if you’re the type of filthy sensual beast that prefers your food rough and ready from the streets, you’re in luck as they’re also bringing their Happy Chicken Korean BBQ down to the H&H stables on Saturdays throughout July offering up such stuff of dreams as Galbi pulled chicken with corn nachos, smashed avocado and Gochujang salsa, Double cooked Korean Chicken in buttermilk served up with Kimchi slaw and Sweet potato fries. There are also plenty of options for the meat/gluten celibate. Sexy stuff.

The Yogiyo Kitchen takeovers will take place on Thu 7 & 21 Jul. The ‘Happy Chicken – Korean BBQ’ will be taking place on Saturdays: 2, 9 & 23 Jul in the Hare & Hounds stables, running from 2pm – late alongside the H&H Blues Club.
