Quickly established as one of the coolest festivals in Birmingham, All Years Leaving returns for its fifth inception and is looking better than ever. Over two days expect some of the best music around, all carefully curated by Birmingham’s most discerning promoters, ‘This is Tmrw’. It’s not just music though, there will be art installations, pop up bars, street food, signings, DJs and after show parties. Both days look stunning and every band playing is worthy of your attention, but we’re especially looking forward to the DIY surf-poppers the Orielles, the messy motorik fuzz-rock of Menace Beach and the scuzzy disaffection, angst and guitar gloom of Goat Girl. Don’t be late because the openers on both days are worthy of your time, the perfect pop symphonies of Doe on Saturday, and on Sunday Birmingham’s own screaming psychedelic noiselords Hungry Ghosts. Weekend and Sunday tickets are already sold out.
