Do you have a strong finger on the pulse of interesting, quirky and fashionable food news in the city? Do you keep up on local food news/openings, write a blog based in the city, or simply have a passion for eating, discovering and reviewing restaurants/bars, bakeries, cafes, street food and edible pop-ups in Birmingham? If so we would love to hear from you. We are currently looking for contributors and writers, especially those with a keen interest in writing about food & drink. We also require a Food & Drink Editor with a fantastic eye for food news and great writing skills who can write, review and keep on top of the best and most newsworthy bits of Birmingham’s food & drink scene. The right candidate will also attend openings, review nights, previews and events on our behalf and compile our weekly Food & Drink news round-up.

To apply, please email info@birminghamwire.co.uk with two 150 – 300 word write ups of an event, restaurant or food/drink related news piece on something current and exciting within Birmingham or nearby. Please add a further 2-3 ideas for similar write-ups. These could cover anything from a currently relevant/new restaurant, event, bar or pop-up, to a round-up of the city’s best cake shops or some other local food-inspired news.
