Hasn’t everyone dreamt of living out a spell-casting, potion brewing, curse exacting life as an all powerful Wizard or Witch? OK just us then. But proof that dreams really do come true comes not only the shape of a special pointy hat but an intriguing event coming to Birmingham that will allow you to live out this fantasy in a potion (read alcoholic) fuelled blaze of magical glory. Wands at the ready, we’re talking the Wizards Assemble Pub Crawl. Take your pick of a choice of three wizardy nights, assemble (ahem) and receive a wristband which gives access to all venues, promotional drinks, a free handcrafted miniature wand and a vault raffle key. Prizes will be offered to the best dressed and each wizard will receive their own personal graduation certificate at the end of the event. Your professional pub tour guide (magic employment opportunity ahoy) will assist all budding Merlins, Dumbledores and Harry Potters over the age of 18 to find the magic at the bottom of a pint glass (or tankard). Cue drunken debate on the Wizard Top Ten, appropriate beard length, Gandalf vs Roy Wood etc. Tickets are £5.90 and remarkably these countrywide events are selling out faster than you can say hocus pocus.
