The Regency Wharf has blown our cinematic socks off with the announcement that they will be hosting an incredible fourteen open air cinema events throughout the Summer at the Rum Runner Yard off Broad Street. Dispensing with the usual open air titles that seem to be on tedious annual repeat at most outdoor screenings, they have curated an imaginative schedule of some of cinema’s most popular cult films. But it gets better. Each screening will be accompanied by one of Birmingham’s finest street food vendors serving delicious meals themed on the movie. The Shawshank Redemption with a tray of prison grub for inmates from Rub Smokehouse and The Italian Job with delicious pizza served from the Baked in Brick Mini are just two of the highlights. We’re hoping the parrot and spam rumours circulating about the Monty Python and the Holy Grail screening are true. Grab a deckchair, a lush comfort blanket and spend six weekends enjoying great movies and stunning food under the twinkling sun and stars.

We’ve got a pair of tickets to give away for The Big Lebowski on Fri 25 Aug and Withnail and I on Sat 26 Aug, both screenings include gourmet burgers from The Original Patty Men.
