Underground dance music brand Magic Door throws a housewarming party at its new home of Amusement 13. Equipped with a crystal clear Void soundsystem, Amusement 13 seems the perfect venue for this infamously quirky event to work its surreal magic, and no doubt the Magic Door team will be christening the Digbeth venue with splashes of vivid colour and large quantities of glitter. All the hallmarks of a standard Magic Door are here, however – from the magic door itself to the Crafty Girls, there to attend to all of your glitter and face paint needs. Resident DJ Maxxi Soundsystem leads a lineup featuring Jukes of Hazard, Deano Ferrino and surprise guests. Always a sure-fire sell out, this is the last event before new Year and the promoters say, ‘November is going to be massive for us, we really can’t wait!’. Time to leap wildly through the looking glass…
