Birmingham Pride has confirmed the first wave of acts performing at this year’s festival.

Held across Sat 24 & Sun 25 May, the celebration, which has been a much-loved cultural highlight in the city since 1997, is expected to attract more than 75,000 people across the two days.

Included in the first wave of musical acts are 90s icons Vengaboys and dance royalty, Cascada. Also joining the billing so far will be Una Healy, Claire Richards and The Wanted.

When is the Birmingham Pride Parade?

The Birmingham Pride Parade will return on Sat 24 May, with thousands of spectators set to turn out as participants, walk, march and guide an array of decorated floats through the streets of Birmingham.

“Our Pride Parade is a march for equality and justice, after all there is no pride without protest. Our protest is relevant until every injustice to LGBTQ+ people around the world is brought to an end and universal equality is achieved.”

Alongside the ticketed gigs, the Big Free community event takes over the Main Stage at Smithfield Live, featuring local LGBTQ+ talent, choirs, keynote speakers, drag performers and the candlelit vigil. Entry is free, but you do need to book in advance, and can do so here.

Tickets to Birmingham Pride are on sale now, including a low-income ticket option. For more information, or to book, click the button below.
