Fans of the Moseley Folk Festival can now exhale their communally baited breath and start preparing proper for the annual epic adventures in Folk, World and Roots in the sublime setting of Moseley Park & Pool. With the full line-up now announced, the festival will both literally and metaphorically go back to its ‘roots’ this year with the long weekend marking the festival’s 10th anniversary and playing host to a plethora of folk and heartfelt singer-songwriters, bands and musical collectives who embody the spirit of this earthy, life-affirming and laid-back outdoors musical celebration. The line-up includes both high class homespun talent and exceptional visitors from distant shores. Headliners this year are The Levellers and Billy Bragg on Friday, Merseyside rockers The Coral and sublime singer-songwriter Phosphorescent on Saturday and The Proclaimers and The Jayhawks on Sunday. The usual daytime team of talented artists, antics, sunshine sounds, troubadours and surprises will add the the perfect beautifully bohemian, family friendly, lazy hazy last-days-of-summer vibe that the festival always brings. Tickets are on sale now.
