Idle Motion are a young theatre company formed by school friends and based in Oxford.  They have built a solid reputation over several years for producing original, engaging and inventive work, and have been dubbed ‘the future of British theatre’. Their latest piece ‘Shooting With Light’ explores the life of Gerda Taro, often referred to as the forgotten photo journalist, she was the companion of legendary photographer Robert Capa. This enthralling and imaginative piece of theatre uses some of the ‘lost’ images Taro photographed to recreate her remarkable life. This is the kind of ‘buzz’ theatre that is energising what can be a stuffy medium. Highly recommended! “If your pictures aren’t good enough, you aren’t close enough”.
