The man possessed with the greatest voice on television brings his band The Maypoles to Birmingham in support of his forthcoming album ‘The Small hours’. Recorded on a 60 year old hand built Decca desk, the album is an attempt to explore the feelings of dread we feel before dawn. Berry is not just a pretty voice, he is an accomplished musician and composer. ‘The Small Hours’ was recorded with a live band with Berry embellishing the instrumentation on the finished release in his own studio. The man who voiced ‘Bubbles’ the dolphin in ‘The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water’ is a voiceover legend. His music is just as powerful.
