The fabulously eclectic culture fest Sunday Xpress has really upped the ante this weekend with a razor sharp lineup of music, poetry and comedy. Main billing goes to the Beefheartian joys of The Courtesy Group, who are launching their  second album 2nd City Liquor, led by confrontational performance poet Al Hutchins, the band recall similarly influenced agit rock piledrivers The Nightingales. Surreal comedian Simon Munnery will be stretching your minds to breaking point with his peculiar and singularly Munneryesque brand of humour alongside power duo Squalour Fan and poet Bobby Parker. That’s a lot of artistic bang for a measly five gold coins, you know what to do.
