One of the legendary figures of contemporary music Peter Hook has been there, seen it and now written three books about it covering Joy Division, The Hacienda and his latest book New Order. Who can forget the ridiculously low slung bass and the unique high bass notes he claims were necessary to be heard over Bernard Sumner’s guitar, a unique sound that was the spine of New Order until he was unceremoniously dumped from the band, an issue that is still in litigation. A ticket will entitle you to a copy of the book. No holds barred are promised. Did you know he was once interviewed as a suspect in the Yorkshire Ripper case? What a life.
