The Highbury Hall Spring Craft Fayre always offers one of the quainter days out in the Birmingham calendar and sets its stalls out to entertain both kids and grown-ups alike in this amazing rabbit-warren of a venue with its decadent decor and interesting architecture. Families looking for a lazy Sunday outing will find this picturesque building host to all sorts of stalls and pop-up tea-room type treats from cakes to craft kits, artisan and exotic crafts, furnishings, home-made soaps, clothes, kids trinkets and old fashioned sweets and treats. The grandiose gardens also provide the perfect space for kids to let loose and explore. This stunning Grade II listed building and its gardens once home to Joseph Chamberlain and now tucked quietly away in a corner of Highbury Park rarely opens its doors to the public for anything other than exclusive ‘dos’ and wedding shows, so well worth a visit.
