A workshop exploring digital music performance featuring Saul Williams and Thavius Beck which offers a rare opportunity to see Thavius Beck who has released his latest album, The Most Beautiful Ugly, on pioneering Los Angeles label, Plug Research. He has previously released music on labels such as Mush and Big Dada and collaborated with many artists including Saul Williams, Nine Inch Nails, Nas, and Busdriver. Thavius Beck will give interactive demonstration of how he uses Ableton and Push in his creative workflow. Williams who plays the O2 Institute later in the evening, has been breaking ground since his debut album, Amethyst Rock Star, was released in 2001 and executive produced by Rick Rubin. Global fame followed and he has a CV that now spans venues from the White House to the Sydney Opera House as well as villages, townships and prisons across the world. He has recorded with Allen Ginsburg and made countless film and television appearances.
