Join Shacho, Tabu Zombie and the rest of Soil & “Pimp” Sessions for some of the most raggedy edged and explosive jazz you will ever hear. Forged as djs in the heaving underground of Tokyo’s jazz clubs in 2001 new members gradually became attached until the current juggernaut of Japanese jazz announced itself as a six piece band with the release of the enigmatic ‘pimpin’ in 2004. To say they are great live is like saying fish are good at swimming. The dynamic energy invested in their shows is sweatily palpable, prepare to climb the walls, shake your bits and get down. Imagine Animal from the Muppet’s playing every single instrument simultaneously and you’ll be some way to visualising their boiling point live anarchy. This is so gonna sell-out. Get tickets.
