Ready to showcase their musical transition from post-hardcore to the more accessible pop-rock sound explored on their latest release, Madness, Sleeping With Sirens are back in Birmingham this weekend for the fifth stop on the UK leg of their headline European tour. On the night, Kellin Quinn’s signature tenor leggiero vocals will be ringing out across the O2 Academy against a wall of distorted guitars and screaming fans. Main support are As It Is, a pop punk group formed through online service Join My Band by Patty Walters, who achieved considerable success through his YouTube vocal covers. Also on the bill are acoustic duo This Wild Life and alternative pop four-piece Beach Weather, fronted by ex-A Rocket to the Moon vocalist Nick Santino.
Sat 5 Mar, O2 Academy, 16-18 Horsefair, Bristol Street, Birmingham, B1 1DB, Tel: 0844 477 2000, Tickets £21.25 www.gigantic.com
