Rudy’s Pizza has announced it will open the doors to its new Sutton Coldfield site later this month.
The spacious 3,360-square-foot unit, split across two floors, will offer approximately 100 covers indoors and 32 outdoors, opening from Sat 21 Mar.
Since launching in 2015, Rudy’s has grown from one restaurant in Manchester to more than 37 pizzerias nationwide. The Sutton Coldfield restaurant marks the fifth opening in the West Midlands, following the popularity of its city centre, Brindley Place, Harborne and Royal Leamington Spa sites.
Adhering to traditional methods passed down by Neapolitan pizzaioli, Rudy’s prepares fresh dough daily using 00 Caputo flour, double fermenting it for 24 hours, with Sann Marzano tomatoes from the foot of Mount Vesuvius and creamy Fior di Latte.
Visitors will be able to wash down their food with Italian spritzes, Italian and local lagers, and classic stirred cocktails, alongside cocktail specials such as the mango margarita or limoncello spritz.

The new opening has created 20 jobs in the local area, spanning roles in the kitchen, front of house, and management.
Commenting on the new opening, Neal Bates of Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana, said: “We’re incredibly excited to be bringing Rudy’s to Sutton Coldfield. Our team is passionate about serving the most authentic Neapolitan pizza, and we can’t wait for people in the area to experience the flavours that have made Rudy’s a nationwide favourite.”
To mark the first day of opening, on Sat 21 Mar, from 5-8 pm, friends and supporters of Erdington Foodbank and Rudy’s are invited to attend while the team puts its training into practice. All proceeds from the evening – including funds raised through a raffle – will be donated to the charity. Bookings for the charity night can be made through this link.
Bookings at Rudy’s Sutton Coldfield are open now.
