For those in the market for making a bit of a splash with their splosh, or simply sampling the latest craze for creative ‘Wine & Paint’ parties, Park Regis will be whetting palates artistic and otherwise with an afternoon to remember in September. Taking their lead from those cutting edge creative socialites in New York and London, guests will follow a step-by-step painting class – although freestyling is also encouraged – while enjoying wine and a rather special ‘painter’s platter’ of canapes and nibbles. Sounds like super sophisticated fun non? Arts enthusiasts, curious novices and seekers of new pleasures are all equally welcome to create their own versions of a masterpiece/souvenir of an afternoon well spent. Though any Jackson Pollock fans should probably make themselves known at the door. Express yourself!

Sat Sep 10, Park Regis Birmingham, 160 Broad Street, Birmingham, B15 1DT, 3pm – 5pm. Tickets cost £35 and include all art materials, two glasses of wine and a painter’s platter. www.parkregis.eventbrite.com
