Enter the ‘oriental disco-techno temple’ for Pagoda’s first event of the year. Purple Disco Machine, the musical alias of Dresden-born producer Tino Piontek, is perhaps best known for his 2013 breakthrough hit ‘My House’, which became one of Beatport’s best selling tracks ever. Piontek’s sound has been aptly described as ‘deep funk’, and he has recently taken up Glitterbox residency at Space Ibiza with a myriad of other top DJs. With recent tracks ‘Move or Not’ and ‘Street’ both reaching the Beatport Top 10, and with Pete Tong tipping him as his BBC Radio 1 ‘Future Star’, there’s no sign of him letting up the pace any time soon. Join him in LAB 11 as he traverses the realm of underground house and disco.
