Bar Jester has always been known as an after party hotspot, bringing solace to all those late nighters not quite ready for the taxi-for-one home. Now, for the first time, Bar Jester becomes the pre-party location, with a little help from the folks at Opulence, one of the most interesting queer party collectives to come out of Birmingham’s gay scene. The venue will be hosting a slew of talent from across the city’s quickly expanding queer arts and drag scene as part of new performance event, Mother’s Meeting. Special guest for the first evening is Charity Kase, a renowned London Queen and talented artist, who recently completed the 365 days of drag competition and snatched the WERRRK.COM crown for Queen of the U.K. Join Charity for performances from her and some of Birmingham’s brightest and best stars on the rise, including Yshee Black and Nora Virus with DJ Elliot Barnacle keeping the tunes spinning.
