Like it wet and wild? The RLSS UK Open Water Festival returns to Ragley Hall, Warwickshire on Sunday inviting swimmers who like their aqua au naturel to make a splash and support the RLSS’s invaluable drowning prevention work. Everyone from hardened half-milers to tentative toe-dippers are encouraged to dive on in and participate, with spectators and supporters also promised a fun day of family activities, stalls and refreshments. A special section for 8 – 12 year olds aims to encourage a new generation of safety-aware swimmers to take to the water for just £1. Swimmers are welcome to turn up on the day, but for more information see the RLSS website.

Sun 22 May, Ragley Hall, Alcester, Warwickshire, B49 5NJ. 11am – 4pm. See: www.rlss.org.uk/
