The team behind the popular breakfast spot, Morridge, have announced plans for a brand-new venue in the city.

The Courtyard will operate as a speciality coffee shop and cafe by day with a menu similar to the one served at Morridge, before turning into a taproom-style bar in the evening.

Visitors will be able to pick from ten local, independent craft beers on tap, alongside guest wines, toasties and soups.

Housed in a former woodworker’s warehouse on Harbone’s War Lane, owners say they want to create a ‘Scandi farmhouse vibe’ and have plans for a hidden beer garden out back.
