We don’t know about you but here at The Wire we like nothing more than climbing on stage in front of an audience of our peers and belting out karaoke versions of ‘It’s Raining Men’ or ‘I Will Survive’ but then we have had our shame glands removed. We appreciate everyone is not like that. But how can you scratch that itch to sing publicly? Well your prayers have been answered by the mac and its occasional Birmingham is Funny season. Not only have you got the chance to exercise those latent singing muscles but you can also win prizes by joining in with a night of Singo. Just like bingo but with singing, what’s not to like? Words to songs will be beamed onto a big screen for the audience to engage en masse in a spot of communal singalonging and as you go tick the song off on your Singo card.
