Love Music Hate Racism bring another stunning gig to the city, Kings Heath’s finest to be exact, for a night of social activism and great music. Local skanksters Kioko are pulling up trees as their dub powered ascent to hugeness continues at rocket powered speeds. An impossible to resist mix of pop and reggae delivered with an infectious energy wrapped in the biggest smiles you will ever see on a band, heaving audiences are the norm so expect to get sweaty and don’t think you can hide, Kioko won’t relent until all bodies are moving. An incredible lineup is completed by a DJ set from Massive Attack’s Daddy G and, fresh from welcoming the world to Birmingham during the Commonwealth Games handover, the sophisticated rap of another huge talent, Lady Sanity.
