Eccentric lyricists, quirksome live and indie rockers of the highest order. British Sea Power seem to have been around forever, 16 years to be precise. Famed for gigging in some of the most bizarre locations, such as busking on the Great Wall of China or on board The Cutty Sark. I’m afraid you’ll have to make do with The Hare & Hounds. Possessed of a very English charm BSP should be cherished. Impossible to predict, their last album’Sea of Brass’ was recorded with several brass bands. Never less than brilliant live, their Krankenhaus club nights are legendary. You need this gig.
