In response to high demand from well-fed and entertained previous punters and the happy heaving streets of their regular events in Kings Heath, The Hare & Hounds are once again teaming up with the Digbeth Dining Club to provide a fun-filled day of food, music – and now comedy – but this time in gloriously grand surrounds. Having upped sticks from their usual street party to a local sprawling manor house and gardens, this upscaled event will boast the traditional array of funky indie food traders and their freshly cooked wares (from bursting burgers and Asian specialities to vegan/veggie delights) but still at delightfully affordable street food prices. In terms of entertainment, local live music and DJs as well as comedy acts will pop up throughout the day. The stunning setting of Highbury Hall’s grade II listed manor with Victorian gardens tucked away next to Kings Heath’s Highbury Park is also a real coup with plenty of nooks and crannies to explore and a very family-friendly lawn to sit out on. Children under 12 go free. Tickets are limited and flying out fast, book yours now.
