Wannabe wizards, warriors, powerful princesses, fairytale folk and storybook lovers hold onto your (fancy dress) hats. As part of this year’s Art Soak arts festival, Selly Manor will be transformed into magical kingdoms from classic stories and fairy tales. Meet Cinderella in the kitchen, Rapunzel in the attic and try your hand at potion and wand making and in the School of Wizardry where you might even meet Gandalf and a parliament of owls! Explore the manor’s magical nooks and crannies with a little help from the likes of Goldilocks, Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland. Also enter the wonderland of Narnia (watch out for stray wardrobes) and take part in spellbinding storytelling sessions. Further swashbuckling adventures include sword fight demonstrations from the Warriors of Warwick and a journey through the specially created trail.
