We are both excited and quite frankly terrified to be welcoming Jerry Sadowitz to town. The confrontational comedian rarely sticks to a script, is frighteningly unpredictable and has no internal good taste controls. In other words anything goes. The world’s 33rd greatest stand up is also a renown magician. Never far from controversy he was once knocked out by an irate audience member and happily frightened libel lawyers by calling out the odious Jimmy Saville as a pedophile in 1987. You may remember his scary monochrome face scuttling about the East End of London in the video for the Shamen’s ecstasy anthem ‘Ebeneezer Goode’. If you’re still unsure what to expect then the tag line for this show should give you a clue. Comedian, Magician, Psychopath. There’s no hiding place. Please note the appearance at Birmingham Crescent Theatre on Fri 18 Nov has been cancelled.
