Awesomely imaginative and inclusive theatre group Spectra return with a new adventure for all the senses and all ages and abilities this year. Setting off on an extraordinary journey to find out whether you can be you and still be part of your crew, I Am Me. We Are Kindred’ tackles issues that are overlooked far too often by theatre programmers by creating the perfect example of performance art for everyone. Last years Spectra performance ‘Hanging in the Balance’ saw a (wheelchair accessible) path made whereby audience members were whisked away to far away lands to try and restore balance to the new realm whilst nibbling on delectable sweets and treats almost too good to eat. Once again ingenious food creative Kaye Winwood will be whipping up the edible experiences this year to make sure the audience’s tastebuds, as well as minds, are suitably blown out of the still waters of bland convention.
