It’s all going off Bank Holiday weekend in Digbeth along Lower Trinity Street with the return of the instant good time party brand Hott Date, just add people and watch it fly. Kicking off early afternoon and barrelling through Sunday with an exquisitely curated lineup of local bands and wild DJ eclecticism that includes the psychedelic screaming fuzz of The Hungry Ghosts,  lo-fi garage punk mavericks Table Scraps and the high energy folk noodlings of High Horses. DJ selection is almost as extravagant as the street food fare available at Digbeth Dining Club throughout the day with the smart electro sophistication of House of Jealous Lovers, funk and disco beats from Le Freak and Keep the Faith, and purveyors of cosmic craziness Kaleidoscope spinning far out grooves. That’s not to mention Brain Food, Miles Cocker, Bad Girls, Chicks Dig Jerks and Cafe Colette’s own salubriously chilled Sundown Club, we told you it was good.
