The UK’s first travelling fashion swapshop/workshop is about to roll into town with a fashionably eco-friendly way to repopulate your wardrobe whilst helping protect the planet from the ethically dubious pursuits of cheap frills and un-conscious consumerism. Challenging the super-damaging world of disposable fashion come saviours of style, Here’s Real facilitating a more functional and original way to met your sartorial needs plus a chance to shop, swap, socialise and eat vegan cake. So if you dig a more creative approach to couture, value vintage aesthetics and like your threads to reflect a more self-styled, sustainable approach, look no further. Simply bring your unwanted items (clean and in decent condition), browse the rails of other people’s pre-loved treasures and leave with a whole new set of replacement finds. There will also be upcycling workshops on hand as well as fringe and embroidery workshops, artists and makers who can help alter and add to your swaps, a licensed bar and some tasty vegan cakes. Keeping it real never looked so good.
