The arch guerrilla buskers made a name for themselves by using trains, escalators and queues as their impromptu stages and performing to perplexed but happy audiences. Famously performing outside every venue during an Old Crow Medicine Show tour they were eventually invited inside by the band, on stage and a career was born. Never let it be said that persistence can’t take you places. Their gentle brand of energetic Americana with a whiff of simple bluesey folk stylings, has seen them build quite a following among both their peers and critics. None other than Whispering Bob Harris called them ‘just brilliant’ and ‘great live’. And live is where to see them. Brash, bold, engaging and a lot of fun.
