Forced to flee India after performing the Dark Fairytale in New Delhi, Andrea Smith brings her tale of rape and domestic abuse back to Birmingham. Challenging theatre exploring distressing themes in graphic detail. Important and compelling, Swingerella’s Prince Charming takes her from first date to self-harming in ten chapters. Recommended by The Sunday Times when performed at the Edinburgh Fringe, its near the knuckle approach makes for uncomfortable reflection on the kind of society in which we live. There will be a 20 minute Q & A session during the performance. Part of Birmingham’s Theatre Festival.
