If you’ve been out and about in Birmingham for cocktail hour, especially in the City/Jewellery Quarter, you’ll have been hard pressed to miss the signs announcing the imminent arrival of the 3rd annual Gin Festival. Gin has long been the cornerstone of British drink culture and mixology and with the roaring success of the last 2 years, the Gin Festival is making it’s way back onto everyone’s lips. Housed at the magnificent Bond Company in Digbeth and with over 100 different varieties of Gin and more producers than ever, we think we’ll opt for the ‘The Single Estate Tea’ Gin made exclusively for the Gin Festival, preferably supped from a vintage teacup. Upon arrival you will receive your very own Gin Festival glass to love and cherish both at the festival and at home. Drinks tokens will be available (£20 for 40,) with various performances throughout the festival and talks from gin industry leaders keeping the good times flowing. What these people can’t do with gin can be written on a ticket stub and tickets do tend to sell out, so don’t hang around.
