Following the release of single Buszy in January, 8 string-wielding rap metal enthusiasts Hacktivist bring their signature metal-meets-grime sound to the Rainbow in support of their forthcoming debut album ‘Outside the Box’, set for release on March 4. One of a series of intimate UK shows the band are playing before embarking on a headline European tour, this is the ideal opportunity to see the band up close and personal before they cross the Channel. If you’ve never heard of the band before – and even if you have – Hacktivist’s unique sound is one that is best understood within the context of a live performance, with the two vocalists’ aggressive ‘street’ attitude complementing the crushing low end of the band’s guitars perfectly. Joining Hacktivist for this show are Counting Days, whose hardcore-fused breed of metalcore is turning heads in the metal scene.
