Sharp hip, creative talent Adam Green is about as avant garde as it gets these days. Cutting his teeth as one half of anti-folk indie-folk duo The Moldy Peaches (with Kimya Dawson), their music mocked the mainstream and put a pin its all its high falutin’ pretensions until it subsequently cut to the musical chase with a Grammy winning soundtrack to the Academy award winning 2007 film Juno. Since then Green’s solo career has remained at the top-end of the entertainment sphere with 9 albums under his belt, many of which have become huge cult hits. His latest work combines film and music making with the 2016 release of Aladdin starring Macaulay Culkin, Zoe Kravitz and Har Mar Superstar with a soundtrack album to match. Quirky cool incarnate.
