By his own admission Tom Odell is not very good at maintaining relationships for longer than six months. However, his must have been the mother of all break ups if new album ‘The Wrong Crowd’ is anything to go by. A jagged and raw journey through the pain of relationships. Stand out song for us is ‘magnetised’, a melancholic scream from the heart and as good a representation of unrequited love as has ever been written. There is an uncompromising honesty about Odell’s music, it pours from his soul as all great music does. A rare talent, he has won a Brit award and an Ivor Novello for his songwriting.
