Come and lose yourself in the languid grooves of hip hop beat masters the gloriously named The Mouse Outfit. Chini, Pitch and Defty form the core of the Manchester based nine piece band whose output has been both prolific and cutting edge. Debut album ‘Escape Music’ won Wordplay Magazine’s hip hop album of the year award in 2013. Latest effort ‘Step Steadier’ has seen more experimental and harder influences stretch the laid back MO sound. A favourite of ours is ‘007’ with its scattergun ragga rap which will be a real tear up live. Constantly evolving in sound, spirit, vibe and even personnel, MO are on the up. Best experienced live.
