Rejoice. The genius nu-jazz electronica musings of The Cinematic Orchestra are coming to Birmingham. Always challenging listener expectations with improvisation blended expertly with production they are an absolute joy live. Indelibly linked with a huge raft of film and TV soundtracks you will have heard the Cinematic Orchestra, possibly even subconsciously, whilst your mind has been plugged into the screens large and small. Famously providing a new critically acclaimed score for the classic silent Russian film ‘Man With A Movie Camera’ in 2001 which they performed live alongside the film, the CO’s musical choices have always been adventurous. We’re off to get teary eyed listening to ‘To Build A Home’ now.
