Nancy is one of the UK’s most celebrated folk musicians and is the recipient of an impressive array of awards including folk singer of the year at the prestigious BBC Radio 2 folk awards in 2015.  Her renown fiddle adaptations of folk classics coupled with an ability to marry modern themes to traditional music make for a compelling live mix. A real coup for the mac securing a performance from Kerr, a bonafide folk superstar who has been making musical waves for two decades. Her new album of original songs ‘Instar’ is released this month. The Sweet Visitor Band is itself a who’s who of folk music royalty featuring James Fagan, Tom Wright, Rowan Rheingans and Tim Yates.
