If you can remember Micky Greaney’s legendary Catastrophe Club nights at the old Lamp Tavern in Digbeth back in the day then you must be blessed with a razer sharp memory, be lying or teetotal. Whatever the truth Mickey is resurrecting the good old days in the cosy surroundings of Kings Heath’s Kitchen Garden Cafe with an eclectic line up of music, comedy and poetry. The music comes from a triumvirate of local legends with the sophisticated indie-folk of Chris Tye, the comical and occasionally political Dirty Folkers and Birmingham heroes World Service. Cream of the comedy on show is local girl and Jaffa Cake voiceover the TV regular Jo Enright. Your poetical itch will get a good old scratching from the likes of Louis Campbell and Nat Bite amongst several others.  The big mysterious draw for us though is the Moseley Village People. Intrigued? Then get a ticket and get along.
