James have been through many musical identities, the most popular of which was probably wearing baggy trousers and sitting down a lot in the early 90’s. Whatever they do it works as they’ve sold more than 25 million albums worldwide. In front man Tim Booth they have an enigmatic, witty and ever so slightly peculiar bundle of wiry charisma with the power to energise even the most moribund of live audiences. This years appearance on Glastonbury’s Other stage was a notable highlight. With a new album out this year ‘The Girl at the End of the World’, their 14th, they show no signs of slowing down. With only 4 UK shows confirmed this will sell out fast. Tickets go on sale Friday. Good luck.
