Dylan Carson and Earth have been producing minimalist drone metal for nigh on three decades now. Taking their moniker from Black Sabbath’s original name, they produce a similar weight in riff tonnage as Birmingham’s metal gods. Occupying similar musical territory as sludgy guitar pile-drivers like Neurosis and the Melvins their epic instrumental dirges are deliriously long and intense.  All sweat, hair and nodding heads. If you don’t enjoy ear splitting feedback and industrial strength noise we recommend you stay away. Otherwise; close your eyes, clench your fists and prepare to get intense. If you think Dylan Carson looks familiar, well he was one of the subjects/suspects interviewed by Nick Broomfield for his 1998 documentary ‘Kurt and Courtney’, in which Broomfield inferred Kurt Cobain may have been murdered.
